Senior Research Fellow at the Institute de Govern i Politiques Públiques (IGOP) of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. From 2001 to 2003 she was Marie Curie Post-doctoral fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute in Florence, Italy. Since September 2012 she is a board member of the European Social Policy Network (ESPAnet) and the Spanish Social Policy Research Network (REPS).

Research interests: Southern European welfare states, comparative social policy and society, employment and care policies, gender relations, migration and social justice.
