During the two sessions of the seminars on policies to contain youth unemployment, which took place during the first edition of the Social Cohesion Days, several original ideas have emerged around the diagnosis and care necessary to reduce youth unemployment in Italy and other European countries. During the first session it was presented a very clear analysis of the profiles of youth unemployment in Europe and the measures (in particular Garanzia Giovani) that have been adopted to combat it. The second session focused entirely on Italy and various implementation issues have emerged, despite a shared appreciation of the opportunities that Garanzia Giovani is offering, especially to specific groups of young people in particularly problematic areas …
